Elizabeth Delgado, born and raised in Veracruz, Mexico in 1989, where she spent most of her childhood. At the age of 12, she moved to the United States with her family while searching for the American Dream. Although there were many obstacles, Elizabeth graduated from Burlington County College with a Fashion Design degree, earning Dean’s List recognition and an award for Best in Design. She was unable to continue her education in Fashion Design, but that did not stop her. With hard work and determination she continued designing, creating, and showcasing ever since. “My dream is to become a well- known fashion designer, it may take me a little longer and a lot more effort, but I will accomplish it.” Her commitment and determination has paid off. Elizabeth has now earned a second degree in Business Administration while still working a full time job and managing her own design company. Elizabeth has been passionate for art and fashion from a very young age.
As of today, Elizabeth Delgado’s designs have been showcased along the East coast in events such as Philly Fashion Week, Atlantic City Fashion Week, Hispanics Choice Awards, Miss Dominican Republic, and Ital-Cal Wine Fest. Each inspired and influenced by her life experiences and culture. Her beautiful designs have also been featured in Institute Magazine, Zélé Magazine, Gloucester County times, Atlantic City weekly, and Fox 29 news. Elizabeth’s style is elegant, sophisticated, and unique, yet dynamic and daring. She creates unique, made to measure garments while providing her clients with one of a kind experience. Her moto is to create a garment that represents every client’s personality while excelling their own beauty, making her be the sensation of any occasion. “I believe that fashion is a way to express one’s emotions, it is like a mirror to the soul; everyone has a different style, and that is what make it unique and special.”

Fashion Designer: Tenaya Hurst. (San Francisco, CA.)

Tenaya Hurst is a Rogue Maker. From finding out about a new microcontroller technology on March 16th 2013, she’s taken off with the electronic fever of making. Originally from Berkeley California, Tenaya attended Indiana University Bloomington obtaining a B.A. in theatre, geology, and anthropology as well as being awarded Phi Beta Kappa. Many years of successful theater and film work lead Tenaya to work for the Tech Museum of Innovation in San Jose where she first discovered Arduino and Make magazine. Tenaya found a position as Evangelist with dog hunter, creators of the Arduino Yun and Linino microcontrollers for the Internet of Things. Tenaya also founded her own wearable tech company, Rogue Making, where she teaches programming, soldering, and sewing with electronics to kids and adults.
