Dallas Fashion Week has embarked on a re-branding process, according to director Victor Quinteros, with his company which owns the Fashion Week trademark and administers the main Fashion Week show schedule. Beginning in 2016, Fashion Week is implementing a whole new look and campaign for the much-anticipated events.

Dallas Fashion Week’s new logo and campaign started with a promotional campaign running during March – October 2015. The event has a history of controversy, but the potential is strong and the organization is aiming to connect with a who’s-who of insiders and invite them to work together for the benefit of the local industry using the slogan: “We Can Rebuild Dallas Fashion Week!” while focusing on the concept that Dallas deserves to have its fashion week back in full swing and pomp. Dallas Fashion Week will benefit the development of a “costume collection society” to preserve the work of local designers by keeping historical record of their work.

The two shows being presented this year for Dallas Fashion Week are the Ready-to-Wear fashion show on October 27th and the Couture fashion show on October 28th. The goal is to bring a new direction to developments with much respect to the organizations who built Dallas into the fashion center it is in Texas; taking steps to influence the entire nation as Dallas and Texas in general are strong bases for fashion design, production and merchandising development. Quinteros is responsible for the creation of Houston Fashion Week and also owns Austin Fashion Week trademarks

he is responsible of promoting local designers during the “Texas Fashion Designers in New York” event during New York City Fashion Week seasons.
